Brenda Connelly named president of The Springs Living

Connelly has served as Chief Operating Officer for August 2020effectively leading the company-wide COVID operational response while working closely with organizations statewide, including participating in the Long-Term Care COVID Forum at Oregon and the Montana Governor’s COVID Advisory Task Force. She also led community teams to regain 6% of the total 8% occupancy lost during the pandemic, while simultaneously meeting and exceeding rental targets for three communities that opened at the start of the pandemic.

For the previous two years, Connelly served as the company’s Director of Quality. In this role, she developed and implemented a comprehensive company-wide quality program that led to improved clarity of quality standards, resources, compliance and resident satisfaction. Previously, Connelly was Director of Community Operations, leading regional operations teams and supporting each community with the resources and systems needed to provide the highest quality care and services to residents.

Connelly joined The Springs Living in 2010 as Executive Director of The Springs at White fish in Whitefish, Montana. She began her career working for nine years in a skilled nursing facility, where she developed her experience as a CNA, then charge nurse, and was later promoted to various management positions, including executive. Connelly earned a Masters in Quantitative Management – Health Analytics from Duke University Fuqua School business in Durham, North Carolina. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from North Dakota State University in Fargo, North Dakota. Connelly serves on the Quality and Compliance Council of the Oregon Health Care Association and is a member of the Customer Advisory Council for Point Click Care. She received a Special Services Award from the Oregon Health Care Association in 2021 and was named to McKnight’s Senior Living Women of Distinction Hall of Honor in 2022.
